Mortgage
As part of our commitment to enhancing the financial well-being of our members, the KURA Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme offers mortgage investment opportunities in line with the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) guidelines.
Historical Fund
Since inception of the scheme on 1st July 2011 the fund value has grown to the tune of more than One Billion Kenya Shillings as at 31st December 2022 courtesy of the contribu tions made into the scheme by both employees and the employer at the rates of 7.5% and 15.0% of employees’ pensionable earnings respectively. In addition, the growth in fund value is also attributed by the investment income generated from the investment of member contribu tions less administrative expenses and benefits payouts to members who have exited from the scheme. The table below illustrates the growth of the fund since its inception;
Strategic Plan
The Scheme five-year strategic plan (2021 – 2026) outlines the ambitious plan to preserve, grow and sustain the Scheme funds as well as to embrace technology for efficiency and effectiveness. The Scheme developed and aligned its Vision, Mission, Core Values and Slogan.
